WHAT XSOLE PTI INSOLES ARE
XSole PTI insoles are a simple, comfortable and 100% hands-free worker protection. You wear them in your shoes, like ordinary insoles and you do not need to change the work habits in any way. In the event of a loss in verticality, a voluntary SOS or other dangerous situations, the insoles transmit the alert information.
The lone worker protection system integrated in the insole functions without a smartphone or any additional accessory.
HOW THEY WORK
XSole PTI insoles have a multi-operator SIM card with worldwide coverage.
The signal is received, then processed by the TRAXxs secure cloud platform that immediately sends the information to the safety site and/or mobile terminals for supervisors (safety managers) concerned, in the form of an application notification, SMS or email.
To further simplify their use, the XSole PTI insoles have contactless recharging.

- Management protection: the XS Manager application makes it possible for management to comply with the law. It provides a means for alerting rescuers, if needed.
- Company protection: by providing an effective protection solution that is constantly worn, the company, which is socially responsible, protects its employees and its brand image.
USE CASES
Let’s go into detail and analysis of the cases in which the system designed by TRAXxs can be effectively simple and effective in the role of a worker protection device:
- Fall/loss of vertical position detection. If the integrated sensor detects an unusual position, a pre-alert is sent to the worker who is wearing the XSole PTI insoles in the form of a continuous vibration. Failing a response by the person in danger, the insole automatically sends the alert.
- Invisible voluntary alert (SOS). In the event of a risk, violence or aggression, the worker can trigger an invisible SOS by tapping his right foot against his left foot three times.
- Evacuation alert. The safety supervisor/manager may send an evacuation order in the form of a long vibration to all workers on the team.
BENEFITS
What benefits can be enjoyed by the worker who adopts such a protection system:
- Reliability. The DATA communication and 2G/4G multi-operator M2M connectivity, guaranteeing optimal quality service. The coverage of dead zones is ensured via long-range Bluetooth.
- Ergonomics. Wearing lone worker protection devices may be a constraint for workers. TRAXxs’ solutions make it possible to eliminate this constraint. All you need to do is insert XSole PTI insoles into workers’ shoes.
- Performance. The integrated multi-satellite receivers (GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO…) are used by premium car brands. Indoor, the precision may be improved with XSpot beacons. Alert messages are sent in a few seconds by GPRS.
- Autonomy. The autonomy of XSole PTI is optimised thanks to the integrated movement sensor. The system goes automatically into standby mode.
- Simplicity. You just need to walk for the system to start: the integrated sensors in the insole are activated with movement. To recharge, all you need to do is place the wireless charger inside the shoe.
- Comfort. The electronic module is integrated in an ergonomic comfort sole that combines suspension and shock absorption properties.
- Resistance. The electronic module absorbs shoe pressure (shocks, humidity, dust, etc.). The ultra-resistant prismatic battery recharges without contact.
- Precision. The integrated technology makes it possible to process information, such as location, activity, number of steps, etc.
- Confidentiality. The geolocation system activates only in case of alert. Data remains the property of the client, in respect of GDPR regulation.
- Conformity. Integrated in the sole, the Lone Worker Protection device respects ISO, CEM, CE and soon ATEX insole and electronics guidelines.
